Forgot to take medication

I forgot to take my prednisone and Urso this morning and last night I forgot to take Urso and AZA. My children are brutal these days.

I’m not sure if I should at least take my Urso and prednisone that I missed this morning. I will be up all night if I take it now.

My stress is bad these days.

Jennyhadenough,

Call a pharmacist and ask them what you should do.

Thank you Stella. My husband looked on the Mayo sight and it said to take my missed dose this morning. The prednisone. Great I will be up all night.

Don' t take the missed portions. I had the same situation and called my doctor. He advised me to take the next portions at the usual time. IT could be more dangerous to take more tablets. Bútor I think you can call your doctor if you want to be sure about what to do.

I'm up all night to I'm on the same combination predisone and urso ugh

I take Thryoid, BP, Prilosec and Azathioprene meds starting at 6 am, 7 am, 3 pm and 11 pm. My memory does not serve me well, so I purchased the plastic pill holders that show Sunday through Saturday and it goes from morning, noon, evening and bedtime. I also set the alarm on my cell phone for each of the times for meds throughout the day and rarely ever miss a dose of anything. If I'm going to leave home, I take that pill and cell phone with me. I hope this helps. Best Wishes.

This is probably too late to help you but I would not try to catch up on the missed medicine. Skipping one day is not optimal but better than double dosing. I do as above with a pill box with days on it otherwise i would never remember. Most important - do not beat yourself up about this! You have so much on your plate and are doing a great job.

Hi, Jenny.

Have you downloaded the PBC Foundation app yet? It has a medications reminder that you can set for all of your various meds (amongst other benefits too).

I just got a new laptop today. I will do that. Thank you. I do have a pill box that I use. I missed my evening dose of urso and AZA and the next day in the morning I forgot my prednisone and Urso. I did end up taking the morning dose of prednisone and Urso that was missed. I didn’t take the Urso and AZA.
