The first car I actually bought for myself out of the nursing school was a brand new '68 Pontiac Firebird. Paid all of $2500 for it - big bucks then for sure! Loved it - speaking of gas prices when you drive a car - I could fill it up for $5. Gas was 29 cents a gallon. 🫠
