Current trial 1 mg hydroxocobalamin, 1.5 mg of adenosylcobalamin, 1.5 mg of methylcobalamin. Day one.
No other supplements other than 50 mg of B6 twice a day in the form or P-5-P as symptoms do not indicate a need for any other supplements. Without supplementing B6 I experience peripheral neuropathy, I will revisit if other supplements are warranted once I have B12 supplementation thoroughly reviewed by my trials.
Last 8 Day Trial:
1 mg hydroxocobalamin, 1.0 mg of adenosylcobalamin, 1.0 mg of methylcobalamin. B6 P-5-P stayed the same.
I knew it was a poorly designed trial because I added a new form and reduced the amount of the other two forms I was using so I would not be able to determine which change caused which changes if any occurred.
I design not by find what works methodology rather to gather information to design what works best. Hence it was a poor design.
Since I stopped grossly under supplementing B12 I get definitive results in days and weeks. Different results with different designs. That is the point. For me 1 mg hydroxocobalamin three times a day with 6 mg adenosylcobalamin three times a day sublingual was robust enough to eliminate symptoms associated with B12 deficiency. That took 6 months but likely would have taken less with better supplementation. It was under supplementing when the goal is to heal and not simply eliminate symptoms.
In retrospect this is what I experienced and why as best I can tell with this poorly designed trial I did not understand when the trial was going on;
I happened to start the trial at 3 pm as what I experience will be much different due to going to have better weather, more light and more sun energy and I could get better information now rather than later. A test the extreme thing.
The first 4 hours were awesome. I am used to a blip of improvement nothing like this experience and never that quick. 4 hours later I crashed and symptoms came back. I am guessing that the addition of hydroxocobalamin was effective for different parts of my neurological system but the reduction in the other two forms was negative.
I stayed with my trial and injected and symptoms settled down and I slept. I am guessing what I experienced for the first time was using up my B12. Perhaps as the addition of the hydroxocobalamin resulted in a more effective use of the other two forms. Although due to poor design I had also reduced the amount of Methylcobalamin and Adenosylcobalamin.
I was still improving but at a much slower rate.
Then on the 9th day I noticed I had injected at 2 am and every four hours exactly, which I have never done. My body was telling me I was under supplementing. I use 5 times a day to allow for different circumstances and for consistency sake do not inject at less than 4 hours.
I do not find comfort in routine or as I call it being a good boy or anal depending.
