Methycobalamin Powder Needed

Hi everyone, I have been ordering methycobalamin in powder form from a lab in the UK. I get it in this form because b12 loses potency when water is added and it's exposed to light. So I get the powder in vials, add saline solution, and do intramuscular injections.

This worked very, very well for me for over a year. However, the source of the methycobalamin went out of business, and the lab I order from started using a new source. My health immediately went downhill and it took about 6 months to get the lab to admit the source change.

My question is: is anyone out there ordering very high quality, sterile, medical grade, methylcobalamin powder for injections? If so, please message me.

Failing this, I have to start the highly unpleasant task of trying out Chinese suppliers in hopes of finding something of the highest quality. I don't know where else to look at this point....Thanks!

Have you tried the single use b12 ampoules?

I have not. Can you point me to a source for those?

You can obtain Methylcobalamin powder from oxford biosciences B12 in the U.K.

I see that you are in the USA , so you will have to get in touch with Oxford Biosciences by email to order it , because they have an agreement with a company in the USA . So go to their site and they tell you to email them . Another member” RisingOne “ in the USA has done this already . So you could message him if you need to .

Hi, thank you! Oxford is the company I was using. They changed sources last year, causing a problem, that I described in the post.

If you want to try hydroxocobalamin single use ampoules , you can obtain them from

apohealth.de

This is an excellent German online pharmacy .

At the moment I’m using Pascoe B12 depot (hydroxocobalamin)

A packet of 10 ref no 07568672

Packets of 10 ( 100 ampoules ) ref no 07568695

They deliver to USA . No charge for delivery , site obtainable in English , pay with Paypal or a card .

You need to register with them

Thank you, I do need methylcobalalmin however. It looks like they don't have it. It works really well for me. One thing I can't understand is why it's so hard to get a hold of. It doesn't make any sense.

I am literally at the point of wanting to set up a lab and make it myself. It's ridiculous.

I will share that I've had a breakthrough. I started taking choline and pantothenic acid and had an incredibly good reaction. I'm thinking that maybe I can by with oral b12 and that it was some missing B-cofactors that were causing me problems.

I've heard that you can buy B12 shots in Japan.

Did you manage to find somewhere? I sourced methylcoblamin powder from China and it was awful. It depleted my levels even further and had bad reaction from it. I bought it from a trusted company and it said it was pharmaceutical grade.

I've also had same experience with Oxford Biosciences- thought I'd give them another go and wasted over £100 on bad quality methylcoblamin.

Desperate to find a good source!

I've recently bought Japanese brand Methycobal but it's only 500mcg. It will arrive in the next two weeks. I'm hoping the quality will be far greater as it is a Japan brand and they are the leaders for treating b12 deficiency effectively.

I see someone else already shared Oxford with you. This screenshot I’ve shared includes a 20% discount code. Best wishes.

Hi, yes they are the company I was using. Their product quality lowered when they switched suppliers last year.

I have been ordering directly from Oxford Bio for about a year. I am in the US. Excellent service. Quality product. Takes about 5 days to get to me by post.

I ordered one vial of this methylcobalamin powder to try. I haven't tried it yet. Are you familiar with them. perniciousanemia.org/b12/in... would be interested to know if you find a source of quality methylcobalamin in any form, as I find no relief from other forms of B12 and it is a constant battle to find.

Hi Crimesolver, you definitely want to order from Oxfordbiosciences.com/store. Pernicious anemia.org is just some guy who orders from them and then resells at triple the price. Really awful.

And thinking about further, the fact that this guy uses a .org is pretty dark.

Thanks to you and your post I learned that valuable lesson. 😀 I am in Phoenix area. What part of US are you from?

I have purchased from perniciousanemia.org, in the past, their B12 is pure and undiluted. But, you can purchase from their supplier direct; Oxfordbiosciences.com/store. much, much less.

Once I tried to buy oxford bioscience but a friend of mine told me it's required vials glass to get sanitized by autoclave. That's why it didn't place order and sourced b12 ampouls from German. Can you share method that you use to mix saline with powder and do you use autoclave to sanitize first and how do you store it before and after mixing with saline?

wedgewood in reply toHamayeshguy

Must be treated carefully and hygienically. Always keep in total darkness , wrapped in Aluminium foil Keep in top of fridge . Wipe the vial and its cap j with alcohol swab before and after use . There is a greater risk of contamination using a multi-use vial . Always be aware of that .

instructions come with the powder from Oxford Biosciences

I never heard of that, I simply purchased this brand Brand: Nurse Assist 4.7 out of 5 stars6,304ReviewsSterile 0.9% Saline Solution - 1000mL from Amazon, or a years supply from Perniciousanemia.org

Oxford sells two concentrations. 20mg/10ml and 40mg/10ml. Just checking to see if you inadvertently switched strengths as the vials look similar other than the label?

If this did happen to be the case you would be halving your dosage.
