My B12 in blood is over 1000! and mcv almost on the limit. Am I not absorbing B12 into the cells and it stays in blood? I haven't supplementing for month before doing test. My iron is within range but ferritin is low. I have mthfr mutation but taking supplements for that.

So your B12 is high because you were taking a supplement. You need to stop for many months before levels go down.
Your MCV is 'almost' on the limit. So it is in the normal range. Some people have naturally high MCV. The normal range is set so that 95% of people fall within it. So you'll have some normal people who are above the top of the range.
I wouldn't worry about it being 'almost' too high.
What were you supplementing before you stopped. B12 levels can stay pretty high for a while if you were taking very high doses. (or injections) And no B12 in the mthfr supps? MCV high can have several causes, not just B12def.
Before I made test I was taking methylocomalamin 1 mg per day and not really everyday. Stoped 1 month before test. Wasn't taking anything really before doing test. What other causes has high MCV?
If you were taking them for quite a while that might explain the B12 1000; the other supplements you still take contain B12?
MCV can also be high (although you said no too high, just upper) in folate deficiency, but also sometimes in hypothyroid and other diseases. Wouldn't worry about a little bit higher one (it's just a calculation, if all other values are normal and it's not really high)
I do have hypothyroidismsymptoms and low cortisol. Still trying to figure it out. My iron is withing upper range but ferritin is low. How can I upper my ferritin? I am eating meat, supplementing iron + copper (I was deficient in this) and still my ferritin is low
