Shingles after Covid

Dear guys, 7 days after my last symptoms of COVID ceased, I developed pain in my left arm. Unusual so after 3 days I went to see Boots pharmacist. She told me to go straight to GP. Unusually I had a rash on my left waistband area but the pain was in my left arm. Diagnosed as Shingles.

This is really unusual for Shingles.

Question is, being B12 deficient with neuropathy that’s successfully been treated now for 3 years, has anyone experienced Shingles after B12 deficiency with this unusual pattern of pain elsewhere from the rash? Perhaps I’m just a one off.

No I've not had it related to b12 deficiency but as tour body dealing with that and generally working harder it could lower your resistance.

I have har shingles in the past. It usually happens when run down as you will be after dealing with the virus.

Pain can be deferred. There a proper name i csnt think of right now.

Just keep rested and take vitamins to support your immune system and j got prescribed cteam to calm everything down ad csn get painful.

It will run its course but should calm. It is very contagious if blisters wet.

Cardiac episodes may present with left arm pain so seek help if become breathless or pain radiates into neck or chest.

Thanks but this was checked out by my GP. DVT was a possibility but discounted, as the pain was surface related.
