Can mild incline in potassium levels after b12 inj therapy explain heart palpitation and anxiety?

I'm probably deficient in b12 as I have many of the relevant symptoms (including neurological) so I started b12 injection therapy in the advice of my Doctor. I'm using cianocoblamin 1000 mcg injection each alternate day. I'm also mildly deficient with Iron so I take the Solgar "Gentle Iron" - 25mg byglicinate iron supplement once daily.

Strangely since 3 days ago I feel more nervous and my heart beat became noticeable in an unpleasantness way.. Its a horrible feeling. I felt so bad yesterday night like having heart attack and got to the emergency room by ambulance. All tests came back fine except one: a mild decrease in potassium levels (3.38 mmol/l). The doctor said it is probably due to some hyperventilation but I doubt that (he doesn't know I'm injecting b12 for a while).

Do you think it explains my palpitations and muscle weakness better than the droping iron levels/iron supplement side effects/cianocoblamin side effects noted in my last post?

What is the best way to restore my potassium level fast without upsetting my gastritis problems (I have heard potassium supplements can irritate the stomach)? Potassium citrate for a month, or maybe others?

Coconut water. Bananas. Oranges. Melons. Dried fruits potatoes especially with slobs are good food spaces of potassium.

Hope you get to the cause of symptoms. I had anxiety and heart pounding with shakiness at the beginning. I thought b12 defiency symptoms. Who knows

Did the doctor say to take potassium supplements? I am thinking no. Openly asking because I just want to make sure you know that that is not a good idea on your own.

The balance of potassium is a tricky issue. And your heart relies on that balance.

My apologies if I have misread. But getting potassium from food is always the recommendation, unless prescribed by a doctor for specific heart issues.

low potassium or high b12 can cause heart paps ...i love low sodium v8 juice , bananas ,baby lima beans and coconut water to increase potassium naturally.....most people feel best around 4.2 and even getting close to the bottom of 3.2 can make you feel dizzy, weird, anxiety, heart paps , raised blood pressure etc

there is evidence that b12 can throw off potassium as well....as msm, ashwagandha and licorice and other things...therefore.....may want to check you herbs or supplements and potassium side effects

I know of nobody that suffers from palpitations due to high levels of hydroxocobalamin.

Thank you all for your information. The thing now is that Im afraid to inject more b12 (cianocoblamin) as the potassium could drop even more? So i stoped the injections for now..

If anything, my B12 (hydroxocobalamin) helps with palpitations. I would be interested in the evidence you refer to jacrjacr.
