Does anyone else have a fast heart rate after eating sugary foods?
It lasts for around 30 mins then goes back to normal. My resting heart rate is 60-64 but in the morning after eating croissants and a small cake my heart rate goes up to around 90 bpm around 10 minutes after eating.
I changed my diet when on holiday, this wasn't happening with my usual diet of wholemeal or spelt bread and a boiled egg in the morning.
Oh the dangers of going on holiday
I forgot to say I have PA and autoimmune gastritis. I am on B12 injections.

Hi! If I'm not mistaken, that's perfectly normal. You have an excellent resting heart rate! I clicked on your post because mine goes up after eating anything and is irregular. Even if I just take a couple bites of something. No idea why.
Thanks, that's reassuring. It still feels a bit high at around 90 I dont think it was like this before my B12 was low. But now I'm full of B12 so I'm thinking it shouldn't be that.
I'll just avoid refined sugary foods it's good to avoid them anyway.
