B12/Vit D and heart rate

Anyone else notice a change in heart rate with these deficiencies? My heart rate speeds up more than normal when I’m up moving around. But will go back down when I sit down and relax. Makes me breathless too. Started my first b12 injection this morning. Just need some reassurance that I’m not the only one experiencing this.

I was same breathless then my heart would speed up like palpitations but that can be part off the anaemia you will notice a difference once your getting b12 regularly ,I'm at the moment getting b12 every 3wks was getting every 8wks but I fainted and was very poorly so doctors decided to do this until I'm starting to get well again,I've actually got some energy which really does help but fingers, toes and weight loss still not better.

I don’t know much about the condition but it may be worth you exploring with your GP the possibility of PoTS. The NHS website has more information (just google ‘pots nhs’).

I think this can be an autoimmune condition.

Yes.

Someone on here will explain it much better than I can.

I used to get "Air hunger" where I'd gasp for breath a couple of times per day, felt like my heart was coming out my chest & that was while sat relaxing.

Since regular B12 injections though I haven't had it for many weeks now.

dingusgirl. Note that you posted a similar question four days ago. Just wondering if you saw the responses in that post:

Answers there are relevant to this post and may be worth considering.

I did. But wanted to get some responses that weren’t related to actual POTS bc I haven’t been diagnosed with that.

Yep...understand 😉

I left a response there that discussed potential non-POTs causes, so worth taking a peek if you haven't seen it 😉😀

I don’t like to see other people having this problem but it sure does help to know I’m not alone. Having these deficiencies sure can make someone think a lot of other things are wrong!!! It’s crazy to know that a simple vitamin deficiency can cause sooooo many problems. Please update your progress as I will also. Pray we are on the mend!
