Is ferritin the same as folate?

Hi guys

Can I ask Is serum ferritin the same as serum folate?

I have been having dizzy spells and heart palpitations but know my B12 and folate levels are ok at the moment but not sure if too ask dr to test my iron levels as if this is the serum ferritin on my blood tests then this hasn’t been checked since last January and could be the answer as to why I’m still feeling fatigued maybe?

Ferritin is a stored form of iron.

Folate is a vitamin, B9.

I have had problems both with B12 and serum ferritin on and off over the years.

I would definitely get your ferritin checked as I suffered terrible heart palpitations as a result of mine being low.
