Low iron and very low ferritin, but "Not classed as anaemic"

Hope people don't mind me posting in here but just want some advice and to hear from people who are or have been in the same boat. Had blood test results after going to my GP for constant fatigue. I've experienced constant tiredness the last 10 years, and just thought it was the norm. My iron levels came back as 9.9 so low but just within normal range. My ferritin level was 6. Had another blood test today to test for coeliac disease :/ the nurse said I still wouldn't be classed as being anaemic. Maybe I'm just making a fuss for nothing and should get on with the tiredness like everyone else, but if it is something I just want to know. I have moments where I'm mid conversation with someone and can't keep my eyes open, and I feel asleep but also aware that I am mid conversation. Vitamin B12 and folate also fairly low.

Well my ferratin was very low, not sure about iron (didnt ask for numbers) and my surgeon said ferritin was very important. I had iron infusion and b12 injection, and 2 more b12 injections to go. I have had 2 major surgeries in 3 months. But I've been very anaemic when younger( im 63) As far as your numbers, i would get a second opinion.that doesnt sound right to me. Just my humble opinion.

Did your full blood count show a high RDW (red blood cell distribution width?) this can be a sign that you have a mix of anaemias going on. iron based anaemia would make your blood cells smaller, B12 and folate deficiencies make your red blood cells larger and rounder - so one could mask the other.

It says my red blood cell distribution width is 13.8 (11.50-14.50).

Red blood cell folate is 4.2 (>4.00ug/L), Vitamin b12 is 244 (211-911ng/L)

Iron level is 9.9 (9-30 umol/L)

Iron saturation 12% (15-45%).
