I had several panic attacks, then did a blood test, which showed my red blood cell count was about half of normal and twice as big. the doctors (in Ghana) ignored and told me to go and eat some fruits lol.
I did my own research and concluded that it was B12 def. I had a B12 test done and the level was 36! never head of anyone having it that low. I had anxiety for about 6 month while taking daily injections at first then weekly and finally monthly. at first my level increased to 600 but since i started taking monthly it has again dropped to 180, so im now selfinjection every 2 weeks, but that might not even be enough. I managed to overcome my anxiety in 6 month. I again did research and concluded at it was highly likely PA which was the cause and did an Intrinsic factor antibody test which was positive... Doctors here are pretty much useless, but it seems its like that most places from what i can read. YOU are your own best doctor in this case it seems. im better now, almost back to my old self... but my advice is, better safe than sorry, inject yourself as often as you feel you need it. you can take bloodtest to see if you b12 is dropping and then find out how often you actually need it.
