PA or absorption issues?

Chronic fatigue, weakness, memory problems, brain fog, low libido, heat intolerance, sugar crashes for years.

I had a private PA test after serum B12 came back as 184.

2015:

Active B12 - 35 (25-108)

Homocysteine - 9.1 (> 15 increases risk of cardiovasc. disease)

IF Antibodies - Negative

(two results for MMA) MMA - 0.18 (<0.29) / MMA - 97 (0-280)

Folate - 7 (4.6-18.7)

2017:

Serum B12 - 352 (197 - 771)

Folate - 5.4 (3.9 - 26.8)

Ferritin - 106 (30 - 400)

2018:

Active B12 - 55 (25 - 165)

Folate - 5.9 (2.91 - 50)

Despite supplementing with 1000mcg methylcobalamin, I can't get my B12 above 350. It seems I do have a malabsorption issue. My folate is always low too.

All I took for the low folate before was normal dose folic acid, but I recently started taking 1000mcg methylfolate. Should I consider private injections or wait to see if the higher B12 + folate help?
