I have pernicious anaemia, B12 jabs every 8 weeks. My question is do I need to take 5mg folic acid every day. Also after having injection, I do not always feel the benefit for quite some time.

I can only handle 3.2 mg daily. I take OTC 400 mcg tablets. 4x in the morning and 4x in the evening. Spreading them out seems to work for me to level out the highs and lows of the B12D.
I recently tried taking them in the evening just before my commute as I was already doing this in the morning. I noticed I get less loose stools. I don't completely understand why yet.
