Do other people find that they have pain when they sit - al;most as if they have insufficient buttock muscles? Also I'm having pain in my right buttock a lot - as I did before - possibly piriformis syndrome. Do other people find that their pain is related to the weather?

Pain two years after hip replacements
Yes I have pain in my buttocks but find that sitting on a wrapped ice pack helps.....haven't noticed that the weather has any particular affect
So sorry for your pain, I know very little regarding your problem, I suppose the body takes a long time too recover from the shock of been operated on If you feel that something needs to be done in both cases you should se your GP and discuss it , only you both knows the pain you must be suffering. Are you in the early days, it may take longer to sort out. If you are still having treatment at the phsio, discuss with them
Remember it is your body and your pain let the specialists sort it, if you are finished with the hospital . Ask the doctor for a further consultation.
All the best do not suffer
You are worth more than that
I find that the weather...cold or wet, makes my pain worse.
I had a few hip replacements before having the replacement removed altogether!
I would say that you should mention it to your consultant tho!
