Chronic pain while still on prednisone

Have posted many details re pain, have osteoarthritis now which seems to have rapidly developed since first of this year, started taper in March from5 mgs to 4 mgs of pred, ,tylenol doesnt touch pain and have seen some on here have taken other anti inflammatory s altjough have been told by drs cant take them while still on prednisone, , but need some relief so what is the experience or side affect for thiose of you that have taken, naproxen or ibuprofen for instance??

Hi I take Naproxen long term

Only side effects for me is indigestion ,gas heartburn,get lanoprazole,

Everyone different though,

your pain I'd see doc to discuss pain meds specifically if still in pain with prednisone,

Maybe switch to cocktail of pain meds some low dose
