Costochondritis? Hypertension?

So , recently I have been getting chest pain (locates left side just upper breast and sometimes on the right side) , I went to walk in yesterday she said that I had high blood pressure and that it goes up when I stand up which his potentially causing my headaches and dizziness . However I went to doctors today and the doctor said that My blood pressure wasn’t as high as yesterday and was nothing to worry about , now with it been my chest where the pain is i have been giving an appointment to have an ECG done and also been giving a referral to a general nephrology clinic in Which they will check my kidneys and decide whether it is hypertension or not , so as I was at the walk in the lady said that she thinks I have Costochondritis because as she was pressing on my chest the points we’re where my ribs are just above my breast , I was wondering what I can do for Costochondritis as I still have the chest pain and also what may be causing the dizziness because I have had blood done and they came back fine

Have you looked into the possibility that you have an autonomic dysfunction? That can cause blood pressure to rise too much when you stand up to make up for it dropping too much, which is why you would be dizzy. There is a similar thing for pulse rate. If you take your pulse when you have rested laying down for 10 minutes, then stand up and take it again, several times over 10 minutes, and see if the pulse goes up more than 30 beats per minute.

It might be that the chest pain is nothing to do with the blood pressure and dizziness.

As far as the costochondritis goes I get it from my Lupus and it's not fun. If that's what it is anti inflammatory pain relievers will be your best bet. If it gets to bad a doctor can give you steroid pills/injection for it. I also found ice helped to numb the pain when it got unbearable.

My ECG came back fine , I got told I have costichondritis I have been diagnosed with vertigo and been given Antibiotics, although they haven’t worked yet so I need to get a manoover done and I also have been refered to a ears nose and throat specialist, I have been told of many practitioners that the high blood pressure is fine it is average and I just need to change my diet

Feel that yeah all my tests have come back normal regarding my heart and all that. My physical therapist seems to think my chest pain is related to accessory muscle issues or some shit but pretty sure they're right as my symptoms aren't as bad granted it's been like 5 months lol. So hopefully both our symptoms just go away, the human body is pretty good at healing itself on occasion so fingers crossed. That is lame though I know what it's like having to go to so many doctors only to not be given a clear answer
