Sharp pain in side possibly linked to prolapsed discs???? Anyone suffered same thing.

I have had 2 proposed discs for 15 years. A new pain has started on my right side and thought it was the appendix. After a few weeks, it is sore when my back pain is sore and if I cough or breath in deeply So now I feel they are connected. Anyone else had this as it is new and the consultant did say I had an issue with a new disc which is causing burning pains and needles on the left leg but my issues are all right-sided. If anyone suffers anything similar can you teach out so I can go back to GP with some information, thanks

Hi I had pin's and needles faintly all down my right leg which led to leg getting pretty painful, my GP referred me to vascular department as they thought it might have been a kink in my vein after waiting months nearly a year for vascular department to be told it's not the vein , I was then referred to spinal doctor, by this time I had to keep my leg elevated to ease the pain, I couldn't wait months again so I borrowed money to go private, had a MRI scan and a disc was resting on a nerve ending and caused a lot of inflammation around it so the spinal surgeon said he would inject my back to block the nerve ending going down my leg , it worked , no pain in right leg but I suffer from other health issues , pain is one and also suffered with pain in my back for years managed with a lot of medication and light exercises every day , I don't know if this is any help regarding your pins and needles, I wish you well and I hope you have lovely Christmas x

Thank you for you explanation of your vase it is very helpful. She did say there was slight compression of another number but I will request full copy of report as I have the burning pain but gabaoentin is meant to cure it but this new pain I. My side is 4 months old and very painful.
