you cannot get thc as a separate .........medicinal cannabis products are only available on a prescription written by, or recommended by, a specialist hospital doctor.
I don't think anyone is suggesting THC is available on it's own, products containing it are available as you say, the problem was that your original comment seemed to suggest something different.
Morphine must have awful side effects. I've got Fibromyalgia and arthritis and for me CBD oil with THC has changed my life. I get a good night's rest and feel so much better during the day. I import mine to my home address in UK from Simplycrafted CBD. They don't have the best customer services and can take a while to get here (2-4 weeks). Watch out for import tax. They don't always check but my last order I had to pay 25% tax on top of my order. It's for personal medical use only. For me side effects are dry eyes, dry throat and for sometimes a cough.... Good luck with finding what works for you. Personally CBD oil on it's own did not work my my nerve pain. Ps Watch out for scammers online ... there are many. Check links to see if there are any reviews.
find cbd with thc has work for me. I've dropped a lot of my prescription meds. The long term of using tramadol & morphine is not good for your body & your mental wellbeing. Do some research about CBD with THC for pain relief, depression, and sleep aid. Make your own decision. Im just sharing with you how it's changed my life. I could not sleep at night and felt worse than ever in the morning after taking nortriptyline to help with pain and sleep. It's about time the UK wake up and see there are better alternatives out there. The medicine industry in the UK are making so much money and the consequences can harm our bodies, especially after many years of using things like morphine, Tramadol, pregabilin, etc Please check with more than one doctor and see if you can use THC safely. I have spoken to surgeon, doctors, cardio specialist (I don't have heart problems) etc who have praised the use of it. It's about time the law changes! Like any potent meds don't drive, etc
good for you but what ever you think it is still illegal in the UK
Where we live its cultivation and harvesting for personal use only is accepted....not leagl but accepted. My husband who bro his back 40 year ago has found specific types helps his chronic pain. It is well documented that of you take it other meds are not needded
We just call is cannabis and not with ot without thc
You need to be aware that what you are buying is not regulated THC from a medical dispensary. On the news here in the US a young man died from ingesting the THC/CBD products that do not come from a medical dispensary but are hemp derived and not controlled by the government here. I would be careful in taking these products.
I've been using marijuana (medical here in the states) for about 3 years. I have nerve pain from a thoracotomy and also bad lower back pain from stenosis and then just add in the old age pain and medical marijuana makes all the difference for me. I have had to try different strains as some would make me sleepy, others way too hungry and now I've hit on one that gives me energy, takes away my pain and makes all the difference. I am not able to take any pain meds even OTC because of stomach ulcers. I usually make my own brownies from the resin you can buy here. I am hoping they make it legal for everyone instead of just medical because it is a rip off as you have to pay the doc $200 twice a year for the script and then the state $75 once a year and then you can go get what you want from a dispensary. It does work well for me.
I live in NZ and I have taken medicinal cannabis for 4 years. For me it works as I have neuropathic pain from a spinal cord injury.
If you can afford it try the stuff. The cost of one bottle will be offset if it works. I use high CBD and low THC. so find a specialist in the field even online. Zoom consultants are around. They know what may work for you.
I went on a medical cannibis trial in April for severe pain but doctor by zoom did say not always works for peripheral neuropathy. The CBD was in a separate bottle and made me feel nauseous and so he said try and build up very gradually the THC instead. I did this but all it did was make my feet feel even more spongy and unsteady so left it off. Shame as i still have a almost full bottle. The only thing it did do was make me laugh at rubbish on the TV which normally would not appeal.. I think the idea of the combination including THC is to take our mind off rather than a painkiller. I also have a fractured spine due to severe osteoporosis and some form of inflammatory arthritis and the PN after i had the covid vax.
I take medical marijuana. Mine doesn't come in a bottle and I usually use a bong to smoke some. It takes my neuropathy away and my back pain as well as nerve pain in my chest after botched surgery. It took me awhile to find the strain that worked for me. Some made me want to just chill all day, watch TV and eat. Finally found one that works with the pain and gives me energy. And here you just get a prescription and go to a marijuana dispensary and some of them are quite knowledgeable about what works best for you and what you're looking for. You have to see a doctor every 6 months and get a card from the state yearly.
I just wanted to add that Cannabis can be legally prescribed by a specialist, it’s been this way since 2018 in the UK. You can get plant or oil. I take a separate CBD and THC oils. It’s pricey , a 30ml bottle of THC, last approx two months is £80. There are clinics that offer reduced consultations at £50, it’s part of a scheme where they are gathering evidence to pass on to the NHS.
I find it does help a bit, nothing is perfect and I still use Oramorph and Diclofenac occasionally
