Anyone recently had an operation on their back where titanium rods were put down both sides of their spine, from neck to the top of your bottom and feel as though the metal work is moving. Is this normal.

No that seems quite extensive. Do you mean one long rod all the way from your neck to the lower lumbar?I have a titanium cage but that’s different. Hope you get some answers

Hi Emma 2017. Thank you for replying. I have two rods in my back one either side of my spine. I also have what they call a cage, which looks more like a triangle which they inserted in between two vertebrae to straighten me up, as I was very stooped over which was the result of the two rods breaking.

Must be hard. I presume this was done to counteract scoliosis? My back problems are completely different from yours. I don’t know how you feel but do know that back problems are horrible and the associated referred nerve pain.
