I will,oh anyone who has an operation before have u had to use this body wash for a week to prevent mrsa and basically to cleanse the skin.

I had surgery on my spine last August and didn't have to use a body wash. Not even on the morning g of the operation .

Yes - swabbed for community-acquired MRSA and instructed to use a body wash on the morning of the surgery.

Yes they make everyone use the body wash before an op and you will most probably have nose and mouth swabs done when they admit you. It's good that they are being careful and protecting everyone as best they can. Let us know how things go after the op. X

Does anyone know what happens is you are allergic to most bodywashes , etc. I come out in an angry red raised rash if I use one I am allergic to.

The doctor can prescribe creams you can use as a moisturiser and a wash combined just ask

Usually you only have to use the body wash if you have tested positive for MRSA.

It's for prevention and to reduce the risk of getting mrsa.

Knock on wood, but 15+ surgeries and no issues. TKR coming up in late June.
