I have a lot of pain in my hands
Hi Moggie57 ,
Thank you for your post. It would be worth giving a call to your GP to make sure that this doesn't signal something that needs to be looked at urgently and take it from there.

Have you talked to your GP or a physio about this? It might be worth doing that because there are all sorts of things that can cause swelling and pain in the hands, and some are not confined to the hands. Additionally, in this hot weather sometimes we swell up too which can make mild conditions look worse.
I have pain and swollen joints in my hands since my early 70s. I was referred by my GP to a Hand Physio who had a pair of splints made for me which are useful if i,m carrying anything. Also a set of hand exercises to do everyday. Painful at first but now just ache after I do them every day. In some places you can self refer for physio, though probably won't see the Hand one on 1st visit. Make an URGENT appt with your GP. Most do an on day service now but the receptionist will try to put you off!! Say it as it is at it's worst. I find Voltarol gel ,a dot smoothed in were it is worst helps especially before I go to bed.
Keep at it to get the correct assessment and good luck
I have also. I think it comes from cervical but not sure. Pain is difficult. I just saw neurologist who helps with cbd and medical marijuana. That is where I am.
