I think that’s what it’s called. The pain is near my ribs and it’s muscular pain it feels like. Wen I lie down getting back up is too painful. And during the night I can hardly change sides. Anybody else understand or experienced this?it comes and I take painkillers and as soon they wear off the pain is there again.
Since January 2018 I've had lower back pain and rib cage pain at the back . Lying on my back hurts as does lying on my side.
I tried all different types of pain relief and nothing worked. I went to the doctor again in august 2019 and told him I couldn't do this anymore and no tablets helped. He sent me to an orthopedic consultant and he sent me for a mri scan which I got on February. I am going to the doctor tomorrow for the results.
Another thing I do not have any pain at all during the day it only when I lie down.
I have had the exact same problem. I was recently diagnosed with POTS, although I had my chest pain long before I started fainting. I still have really bad chest pain particularly when I lay down or sleep. Some morning I would wake up and cry as I couldn’t move it hurt so much. I have been to A&E, had ECG, X-rays, blood test, lung test and many more and they still couldn’t find the problem. Although I am not entirely convinced my chest pain is link to POTs it is the best thing I can do. I do suggest going to the doctors.
It also depends on your age, any other medical problems and how you look.
If you are similar age to me (18) then you probally don’t have anything serious.
O no Coco6040 yours sounds much worse than mine. I’m 40 you’re only 18! Although I don’t feel 40 😆. You suggested going to docs. I went and it’s muscular pain they said 😟
Well definitely be persistence. I was told it was many things. I was told the pill by one doctor then my GP said it was nothing to do with my pill. Then told it was anxiety. Then told it was my iron (turns out I am not anaemic). Then told it could be diabetes. Told it was the cartridge between my ribs. So you just have to keep going back.
They said it is normal for people my age and I do believe it is. However, if it is a new thing that has arisen then I would see a doctor about it.
I suffer from this but it can be different types of symptoms.
I had major chest pain and it went down my left arm.
So I went to hospital and they checked me for a heart attack, which thankfully it wasn't, and I got this diagnosis, but chest pains... always get it checked out.
