Head pain

I get aches in the same spot on the head. It’s been happening for several months now. The aches are mostly random but sometimes are triggered by stress and anxiety and I have pain everyday in that spot. Fortunately the pain is tolerable. The spot is just above the forehead on the right side

Hi there, try and not get worked up to much easier said than done but if it as been going on for several months you do need to go and see your GP who can give you something to help you through and see how you go

I’ve been to my gp and I’ve seen a neurologist. They don’t think it’s serious but I always fear the worst anyway

Nothing. It only lasts for a few seconds so it’s hard to treat

Could it have anything to do with ur neck or shoulders? Im a mess and when I get tense or stressed in my neck or shoulders it affects my head n then pain. Another thought.. sounds weird but.. ur teeth. When I get severe head pain.. I can feel it in my neck , jaw n into my rear teeth. Best thing is to get with a doc u feel comfortable with n write everything down (big or small) ur experiencing.. so to help ur doc. Hope u get answers and relief.

Stress and anxiety discuss with your GP. Headaches generally can be caused by Anxiety

Headaches over short periods discuss with a chemist, Many none prescribed medications are available

Ive heard that 97% of headaches are caused from the neck. Ive had one spot on the right side of my head above my temple that pulsates sometimes daily and then it goes away for awhile, for 6 years now. Ive noticed that my neck problems seem to trigger it. I have a fusion at c7 and wide spread arthritis and a herniated disc. I seen a neurologist a few years ago and they never even mentioned that it could be a neck issue. my chiropractor was surprised about that. Good luck 👍

At C7 it will be quite low down, if this is the case it may be caused by posture in neck and shoulder. Generally if the headache is in the temple it seems the pain will not be a referred pain from the neck. If you have had removals of teeth on the uppers on side you could get pain in the jaw, however pain in the temple sounds like you may need to have your eyes checked. In the UK people get their eyes checked every year or two years, I get mine checked every year, sometimes on a six month basis.

I advise i not already get your eyes checked. Stress also causes pain in the temple.
