Knee pain after 5 months
I know its hard to be patient after u have been dealing with a lot and then have surgery..but all our bodies are different and we all heal at a different speeds. You probably don't want to hear that.. because I wouldn't ..but its true.Ive had mega surgeries with all different results// so hang in there.Sending u a hug.
It doesn't sound good, surgeons don't want to admit to their problems. Your knee should not be giving way. They do not like to admit that 10 to 20 percent of operations fail. Do not let it go on for long, you need a diagnosis of the root cause of the pain. Ask for a second opinion if necessary. Best to catch the problem early if you can, good luck.
I would listen to the surgeon. I don't know how bad your pain is, but I have had two hip replacements. The right hip was the worst, and was replaced in 2012. I still get pain in it and sometimes it gives way. Replacing a joint (whichever one) is difficult - remember that there is an effect on the muscles, ligaments and tendons - it's bound to hurt for a while! Are you having physio? And if so, are you doing the exercises?
Take care anyway, hope your pain goes away soon.
