I last wrote a while ago and got lots of support. I had a fall in Jan17 and from then I had the most awful pain in my head - not a headache but migraine intense pain just above my right eye.
I saw just about every health professional there is in the field but my headache remained. A chance conversation with friend mentioned Daith piercing, I researched it and then had it done 13 months after the fall and the headache has gone. Daith piercing certainly worked for me, I wish I had heard of it 13 months ago.

Daith piercing is a piercing of the cartilage of the inner ear shell. It was recommended by a friend who knew several people who had it done. It sits nicely in the ear and is not visible unless I put my hair back behind my ear. It does take longer to heal than an ear lobe piercing but is not painful like an ear lobe piercing. But even if it stood out like a sore thumb and took a year to heal not having the headache would be worth it. I have suffered from migraine headaches for 50 years I wish I had known about it years ago.
However I am one of the lucky ones and the piercing worked for me, but it does not work for everyone. However after 13 months of headaches I was willing to try anything!
