Good afternoon y’all. I am new to this group. And just a little background I am a fairly anxious person. I’ve always had neck pain, my headaches almost always come from my neck. But i do not get headaches often. Until this past week, I have had this dull-aching headache since Monday.. I have taken midol (to assist my time of the month) but it doesn’t completely rid the aching. Today I’ve got the same headache, neck feels uncomfortable and I have pressure in the top of my nose almost between my eyes, and a slight pain behind my right eye. Then pressure in my temples. Is this just a normal tension/ anxiety headache? Should I be worried? Thank you in advance.

Weird headache
Hi, what doe's your Dr. say? I would say your neck pain need investigating, perhaps am MRI to see what's going on there first, as that can cause headaches if the nerves are involved. Perhaps also learn some relaxation techniques , may well help xx
If you are taking pain killers they bizarrely can cause analgesic headaches? It does sound like a sinus issue try steam inhalation with a vapour rub mixed in.
Hope you get it sorted.
Be well
I get this sometimes, it's to do with the SCM muscle in my neck. I do stretches for it and it fixes it. You can find stretches on YouTube.
Still, do suggest it to your doctor.
Don't be afraid to chat with me about it.
Good luck!
Oh awesome! Thank you so much.
I get it quite often, so if you have the same thing you should be able to sort it. But always make sure the doc has checked it.
You might want to find the cause of it too. Bad posture or bad exercise technique might be a reason.
Keep in touch and let me know how you get on please.
😊
