I have lived with chronic pain for over a decade. I have recently been considering CBD oil. It's legal, but the prices, strengths and variations are insane.
Please can someone point me in the right direction? Where to go, who to talk to, that kind of thing. My GP has said its fine for me to try but she can't recommend any particular brand or strength (in fact she recommended me to smoke cannabis).
Thanks in advance.

I think your GP has the right idea. I’ve got chronic pain and tried CBD oil and it didn’t work for me but that doesn’t mean that it won’t work for you.
There are groups on Facebook who will advise you better than me - CBD User UK and CBD Users UK -Unite
Good to hear from you badbackjonny ...sorry about the new problems though.
I have, over many years, done a lot of research into cannabis use and its effects. Then we move here where it is widely available in all its formats. Even allowed to grow a few plants for personal use!
Yes CBD is available in UK and as it doesn't have any thc, or below a very small level, can be bought just about anywhere.
The cheaper versions are poor. The good ones contain other oils which work in conjunction with the CBD adding to its benefits
I have a very good supplier based on mainland Spain. He is extremely knowledgeable in this field and will help you in any way he can.
David started on a low strength...always advisable..then his Ankylosing spondylitis took a turn for the worse so...upped the strength for 3 weeks...then back to maintenance dose.
Probably best if I message you details if you are interested?
That is one of the issues, the cost. Trouble is with smoking cannabis, it has the htc in.
But the cheap oils are not worth buying. I am in the UK. I get mine from CBD Brothers. They have a Facebook page/group and they will, if you ask send you out some free samples. That way, you can see if it suits you and the different strengths. They will give you lots of advice as well. And, the correct way to take it. It's always, best to start on the lowest dose. I, can only buy it, when I can afford it. Shame, you can't get it on prescription!!
