Brain fog, Trimethoprin and asthma?

I have had fibro for some years, but for the past 3 weeks been struggling with bad brain fog, anxiety, dizziness and nausea following an adverse reaction to Timethoprin given in error for a UTI. I'm allergic to Septrin, which contains Trimethoprin, but this info had mysteriously disappeared from my notes.

I have mild asthma and this drug also caused breathlessness which I managed with my blue inhaler. However, the fog in my head has been awful. Last night, I thought maybe my brain wasn't getting enough oxygen. I took my brown (steroid) inhaler. Two doses last night and this am. Slept really well and fog seems to have gone. Could there be a link between fibro-fog and lack of oxygen?
