Mine started about 30 years ago as a pain in my left temple and used to a sharp pain now and then but about six months ago it started hurting a lot more than ever before, about every 10/15 minutes, the pain is such that I have dropped to the floor when it happened, the pain at this moment is still bad and I'm waiting to see a neurologist at Walton centre which is one of the main Hospitals for head pain, they have increased my amatriptoline as he says that's what we need to use to control this but so far no good lol.

I have a multitude of ills including my Dementia, caused by a lot of Tia's that happened during sleep and in time small vessel disease and diabetes.

Fingers crossed you'll be ok.

We have to keep brave.

Hi Philip, my doctor said there is nothing that he can do for hardening of arteries in my brain ,is this true, because he wasn't the usual doctor I see.

What exactly did your Dr say?

I've had the condition for a number of years unbeknown to my self and it is only the past 4 months it has really started to hurt me pretty badly, I've always had pains in my temples from which it started and it has over the years brushed it aside but not now and going back to see my gp and he will send me to the Walton centre in Liverpool. Good luck and keep us informed.
