Lumbar Sympathectomy - help

Hi,

I have complex regional pain syndrome as well as other pain issue caused by surgery back in August.

My consultant wants to send me for a Lumbar Sympathectomy.

Has anyone had one of these?

I'm concerned it might cause weight gain (something I've been battling with since surgery)

Any info would be really appreciated.

Hi. Please provide more details as in What your surgery was and the pain locations, etc. I've developed pain after surgery to my back.

Surgery was putting metal plate in my leg above my ankle. Pain is through leg, foot and ankle...
