Headache

I've been having such a bad headache for the past few days, in the top of my head, I am very afraid, I don't know what should I do ?!

The best person to speak with is your GP. He can advise pain relief and scans to put your mind at rest.

Oh fabulous. My brother was born there when my parents worked there many years ago!

I presume you have a Doctor you go to see when you are poorly? Here we call them General Practitioner GP. We have a local surgery where we register and whenever we are poorly or hurt we make an appointment to see him, or heer, and off we go. If they can't help with a diagnosis or prescribe some pain relief they refer us to a specialist at a hospital.

Do you have a Doctor you can see?

i am from Canada. I would suggest going to Emergency at the hospital. Not sure if that is an option in Egypt

People go to the doctor or hospital

Good. So go to a Doctor or if that isn't possible go to the hospital. They will be able to diagnose why you have a headache and give you something for the pain.

But you need something to treat your headache if it has been going on for so long.

Where do others go when they are poorly?

We are trying to find a solution for you so you must say where people go.

We aren't Doctors on his forum and not many of us have medical training and certainly would never diagnose like this.

This happened to me before! But not that long, I would suggest going to the closest doctors to you. And have you had your eyes checked recently? If not define you go to doctors, because there is a chance that you could hard a brain tumor.

Well normally I would say one who deals with all of you. But I don't know what choice you have. Can you tell me what choice you have?

And see an optician too and get your eyes tested. It may be you are straining to see things and that is causing tou pain.

I don't know :D, I don't love doctors, So I don't know anything about them :'D, You can tell me and I will ask someone if there are or not

I honestly don't know who to suggest. Do you have a relative or friend there wwho could tell you?

I can only suggest you speak with the pharmacy for some pain relief and ask if they know any Doctor.

Or again go get your eyes tested and ask there.

My advice before seeing a doctor about a headache get your eyes tested first. Even the slightest change in eyesight is enough to cause stress headache. If there is anything seriously wrong a optician can normally pick it up.

I take a medication called Maxalt which is for migraines but it works very well for my headaches

No I don't accept this. Sorry. You live in a hot country and are used ti hot weather.

You are young and shouldn't be getting headache like this.

Please can you get your eyesight checked? Ask your mother to take you if you can't go alone.

Personally if I was you I would make an appointment to go to the Doctors asap because it could be anything and you want to make sure what the problem if there is any for certain. I kept getting headaches all the time and when I had an appointment to see my Rheumatologist he said that I suffer with migraines so I have been to see my local Doctor and I have asked her to prescribe SOLPADOL 30MG/500MG Tablets because when my friend who has Leukamia sent me some my headache/migraine seems to go. My friend also brought me some DEEP RELIEF IBUPROFEN AND LEVOMENTHOL Gel because when I have neck problems I seem to get headaches and believe me it really does work better than the FENBID GEL 100MG IBURPOFEN which had been prescribed for me in 2011 I do not use this anymore. The good news is you can get both these medications on prescription from your Doctor or Rheumatologist if you see one so I would insist on getting the medication which is suitable and right for you and the pain you are suffering. All the very best and I truly hope you get sorted out because it is very unpleasant suffering from headaches all the time. Take care Lillian

Our young friend lives in Egypt where they don't seem to have Doctors like we do.
