Head pains

Still getting head pains and tingling in the head but it's not impacting too much on my life, it's just bloody iritating and I want it to go. Docs are not worried so at moment just learning to live with it.

Do you know why you're getting the head pains and tingling? I had mine for several years before we managed to work out what was causing them. I agree, it is bloody irritating, but I have learned to just get on with it - except for the days when they are too noticeable.

No, I thought it might be a reaction to omeprazole which I was taking for a gastric ulcer. Learning to live with it, however there's nothing like having serious health concerns about my husband now to take my mind off things a bit.

Did you try going off the omeprazole (with the approval of your doctor, of course)? There are other types of meds you could have tried to help your gastric ulcer instead.

Also, are you on any other meds? I'm sure I've heard of folk getting that kind of effect from statins too.

In the process of reducing the omperazole now on every other day and yes the headaches have eased. I am sure when I stop completely they will go.
