Went down at 2.15pm and came back on ward at 6.15pm. Also my bits are where they should be.......

The picture in my mind of myself struggling will soon be no longer.

Not saying its easy but it's defo the better option of no quality of life.

I came home yesterday , the boredom at the hospital was killing me. So went in Monday, op was Tuesday and out yesterday Saturday.

No really pain just antisapation of pain, in other words I am very nervous. I feel very tender and I do have 12/15 staples in my tummy as the surgeon which through an old scar, which was nice of him. Been out for dinner today and now sitting watching my youngest swimming .

I am worried by thinking my nightmare is almost over !!!!!!

To anyone who is thinking about this operation " ifs a no brainier " you have nothing to lose. Honestly.

I feel guilty for wishing my life away for wanting to die.

Now I have to rebuild my life for myself and family.

Do what you got to do to be heard,,,, we are all just names faces and numbers. Be noticed and fight to get seen,,,,,,,,,,

Hi, I had my L5 S1 spinal fusion in August and I had absolutely NO back or leg pain after the surgery! If I had to do it again, in a heartbeat, I would!! I'm 61 years old and the pain was debilitating and my quality of life had suffered for 9 years prior to this surgery. Now

the only thing I need to have done are my knees (which will be next year) then I'll be ready to rock & roll!!

You will not regret it,,,, my op was set for February but I phoned up to ask questions broke down on the phone as the lady touch a raw nerve , I was telling her I had a 5 yr old and Iive on my own . The night times was hardest to cope. I started crying , she said I would be moved up the list as they did not know about my child. Sure enough 3 weeks later I was booked in .... Brill

So please make that call it pays. Don't feel guilty, it's your pain and there are hundreds of us.
