High girls had my second combind chemo. yesturday carbo /paci taxol plus all the anti sickness. well I was up being sick in the night and again after breakfast this morning.Took my anti sickness and sterroids only to be sick again bringing them back up. just phoned mac. nurses to see what to do if I should take them again?waiting for call back anyone else had this happen to them. last time they forgot to give me my sterroids to take home and when i told my onc. what a rough time I had and he read my notes re not given sterroids he was livid and said so sorry they were not dispenced and some one would get a rocket hence my desire to take them for energy and less sickness.Always feel better after being sick, has this happened to anyone else. love to all Jenny PS my ca125 come down after one chemo from 525 to 225 a great result so must be working xxx

Hi Jenny! What a dramatic fall in CA125, that looks great. So sorry that you w been feeling so bad overnight, I hope you get an answer from McM soon, sorry I can't help. Just sending cyberhugs (((xxx)))

Love Wendy xx

Everyone who are on taxol/carbo should be administered the anti sickness through the cannula. Normaly 3 iv drugs, one is piriton, one is a steroid for nausea and the other is antisickness. The steroid and antisickness tablets should be prescribed in tablet form for next 48 hours. Rgds Paul xx

Hi Jenny,

I wasn't sick at all on my first line chemo so didn't take the anti sickness drugs, the second line chemo (after a recurrence) I was violently sick and I was on the same combination chemo so I think it has a different reaction each time, anyway I was sick every few minutes right through the night and then I would stop at 8am strange this happened on every session for the first few days but by the end of the six sessions I had just about conquered it with taking different anti-sickness drugs together ...so you could ask your doctor to perscribe this..best wishes love x G x

Hi Jenny

I had a lot of trouble with nausea & vomiting after the first cycle, despite being given the drugs. They gave me something stronger for subsequent cycles which did help. So do report all this when you have your next pre-chemo appointment. Hoping you feel better soon and really glad to see how mych your CA125 has come down.

Love & hugs

Mary xx

Great result Jenny with the CA125 drop and I am so sorry you are feeling sick. I was always OK on Carbo/Taxol I found the anti sickness drugs made me feel sick! I was told however to take them regardless of feeling sick or not, don't know if you are doing this but thought I'd let you know just in case xxx Trish
