Today we get moms CT scan results.. cancer is back a lot of mts over abdomen and a lot of lymph are bigger as normal and ca in 2 month go up from 110 to 250 so sad,, on sunday she will start chemo again, last chemo was 15.10.2021 that mean she is platin resistant, doctor said that she will think which chemo she will get! Figers cross that it will work, this week mom is ill with covid and up to next chemo! Crazy!!! I know there is some who have expirience with taxol maybe something else?

Poor Mum, she’s really going through it! But now you know what you are dealing with and although her ca125 is higher than you would like, it’s not massive. She has treatment options and her oncologist sounds active. Wishing her all the best for the new chemo xx

I’m sorry about your mum’s Covid and return to chemo. Hopefully the chemo will get rid of the Mets without too many side effects. Hang in there! Xx

I had six months of taxol following recurrence. Once a week for three weeks and I week off. My CA125 was 1000 and after treatment down to 50! Good luck to your mum. Xxx

I was stage III. I took taxol and Carboplatin. But I am still here today. I took my last treatment in 2013. With that said, I can no longer hardly walk. The nerves in my feet and legs are shot. I live in daily pain. I graduated out of the wheelchair but use a walker. The good news is that no two people are alike. Let's pray she gets through it like a breeze. Sending good thoughts.

Your poor darling Mum she's having a tough time. Wont go through what lve been through but its a lot and my CA125 as been in the thousands de bulking op, key hole surgery for cancerous nodules and carbo& taxol 6 long sessions every 3 wks and lve been NED since 2019 so there is hope believe me. Your Mums so vulnerable at the moment with having covid but there are treatments they really are getting better all the time. Get her strong again keep her positive l send all my love 💓 to you both SheilaFxxx

Thank you! I am affraid abut her platinum resistant, even her help last chemo but cancer came back so fast and if she is resistant… who know what will ne after non resistant chemo she can be backTo platin or not? That is the question

Can you get a second opinion for her, different Doctors go down different paths. Your in my prayers love SheilaFxxx

Your right try absolutely every avenue , there will be something keep strong yourself. I know how hard it is for you. She's so lucky to have such a caring daughter your a credit to her .Hugs SheilaFxxx
