Hi all you wonderful women/lovely ladies. Have any of you ever had a chemo called Topotican (sp?) or Gemzar? The Avastin and cytoxan doesn't seem to be working. I go for another cat scan next week to see what's going on. My CA 125 keeps rising and I'm starting to feel bloated and achy. I don't know what's next. It's always a wait and see.

Hi Joan I have heard of the ones you mention but haven’t had them. You are so right, we are always waiting for the next thing and the next. I hope things are resolved for you as soon as possible. Best of luck with it xx
Hi Joan I had carbo/gemsar in 2020,finished mid October 2020. This worked for me. In Dec. 2020 I started on Rubraca which I am still taking,but my CA125 today was 160, but it has been as high whilst on this parp at 236. I feel fine so not sure what is going on really. I am due to see the Oncologist on 3 March so it will be another scan I presume.

Hi Joan. I haven’t had either but gemzar /gemcitabine seems to be used more often for the first or second recurrence but usually with carboplatin. I know both showed up as possibilities with my genomic testing.
Any news from your March 3 visit?

diagnosed advanced peritoneal in Dec had first session carbon/taxol second one next week then ct to see if surgery possible
