I'm so very sad to hear of Lorraine's passing. She was a true supporter of all the women in the Ovarian Cancer community. I first (cyber)met Lorraine when she was first diagnosed, on the HealthUnlocked group. We were part of the same group, meeting through Ovacome initially. So many of that group have gone now. We all met, exchanged support, ideas and views often.
Lorraine was always honest, totally committed to raising awareness and supporting others with this dreaded diagnosis. I really admired the way she grabbed life, taking up running, taking control of her diet, moving to be near her beloved family.
She was so brave, often funny, honest, always helpful and a good friend to so many.
I'll miss our internet exchanges.
Rest in Peace lovely Lorraine. ๐ xx

Iโm so sorry to hear this Wendy. I didnโt know about it. She did try so hard and she was diagnosed at a younger age. Iโm so glad she had her family and her cats. Xxx
I'm very sad to hear about her passing. She was also very knowledgeable about her illness, and pushed to get the best possible treatment, as she should. RIP, ScardyCat. xx. Maus
Can't believe I'm waking up to this news this morning. Lorraine was a lovely lady and a great support to everyone in this group. Fly high sweet lady xx
RIP my teal sister. You taught me how to fight this beast. And pushed me for opinions. I thank you. Even with your direct honesty I look up to you as a warrior.
Sad you gained your wings too soon and I thank you for doing the trials for us low graders.
You will always be a reason for me not giving in. ๐๐
Thatโs such sad news, we shared the experience of a chyle leak so messaged each other for a time. I always remember me sticking rigidly to a 10g of fat a day diet and Lorraine telling me she had been tempted by a Burger. My thoughts are with all who loved her. XxX
