my lovely morning meeting.

Hello everybody.I just wanted to say that I met up with Sunfleury this morning.

And had the most amazing talks with her. I realised a lot of things whilst talking to her. That i would just never have realised if i hadn't had the opportunity to meet her. I thank her from the bottom of my heart and hope to keep in touch with her.

I feel i have a lot to work with now to move forward in my life and maybe get a little sanity back..

We met up in a lovely little place that I haven't visited for a while but do intend to go back and have a good walk round.

So Thank you Sunfleury. Hope your appointment went well this afternoon.

Hi Suzanne, I'm glad that the meeting was so uplifting. Isn't the network of women on here a wonderful side effect of such a #%>}¥ disease? You'll hopefully be able to move on a bit now and feel more confident about things. It's often the chance happenings that lead to a move forward. I hope so, anyway

It was a such a lovely morning for both of us and I can thoroughly recommend meeting up with a fellow Ovacome poster- though it helps if they are as lovely as Suzanne. As Wendy says chance happenings can often have fantastic outcomes and I really and truly believe there is something very special about meeting a woman who has been on such a similar journey.

I think from the amazingly eloquent, caring, generous, informed and humorous replies on this site that there are clearly many women with the gift of true communication. If you have the chance, do take it to meet face to face! I know Suzanne and I shall meet up again at some point and I look forward to meeting others at Penny Brohn or future get togethers. Sx

I'm so glad you are feeling much better. Talking to one of our ovacome friends is the best tonic. Jan76 meets with me quite often and we have a special friendship. it always helps me when I see her.

I am so glad that you have both met up. Doesn't it make a difference when you can have a wonderful conversation with someone who is going through the same disease as you. All of a sudden someone knows what you are talking about, and sometimes has a way of resolving it that you hadnt thought about, and lots of tips to share., and even have a laugh! Just like here. But it is a bit more special to share over a brew and of course if you can a fat big cream cake!!!
