Just finished my second of twelve rounds of Avastin, Gemcitabine, and Cisplatin. So far, so good. Going every two weeks - 4 hours at a clip. Very lucky so far, hair is holding steady. This is excellent because it has just grown back after my last Taxotere/Carbo regiment a year ago. I think I'm going to keep it short if it stays on my head. I never had short hair and never realized how nice it is for the summer. I use less shampoo too!

Hi, I have had cisplatin/gem and Avastin. Hair might thin but u shouldnt lose it. I used natral hair fibres to make it look thicker until chemo was over, wishing u well xx Kathy xx

I've come to terms with having no hair, but I always prefer to have it. I can handle being sick, but looking sick is tricky. People treat you differently. I will keep my fingers crossed!
