Durvalumab, gemcitabine and cisplatin. Have stage 4 bile duct cancer that spread to my liver. Masses on both sides and smaller problems in between. After 3 rounds of chemo, they took me off cisplatin due to severe tinnitus. Have not replaced it. Recommending possible Y90 treatments.

My Oncologist is going to try me on Cisplatin for the last two cycles. Has anyone else had an allergic reaction like this? Denise

Had 2 rounds of cisplatin/pemetrexate and each time my heart would drop below 60 for days. Usually runs in the 80s at rest. I was running around town, doing all kinds of things and didn't realize it wouldn't get above 60. I was confused for days after while this was happening I see now.

His initial diagnosis was small cell cancer of prostate (SCCP) which was treated with cisplatin and etoposide. After treatment, his cancer relapsed and the new prostate biopsy showed adenocarcinoma, but a new biopsy from a lymph node has now confirmed that it's small cell again.

I am wondering if someone has been on Cisplatin and what’s yours experience with Cisplatin?

My Oncologist thought Cisplatin as an alternative would be too toxic with Paclitaxol as I was experiencing quite a lot of neuropathy in last three sessions. My CA125 was back down to 27 after session 5 and haven’t had it checked after session 6.

Starting Chemotherapy with I think Docetaxel and Cisplatin MO suggesting Immunotherapy

I was having 3 weekly cycles of Gemcitabine plus Cisplatin . I missed the 3rd cycle because of the pleural effusion . I will re start next week and hope that it will reduce my Ca125 . I hope all that made sense . I’m in the UK , so Elahere isn’t an option as a next treatment yet .

His treatment plan was to have Cisplatin and Pemetrexed (chemotherapy) and Pembrolizumab (Immunotherapy). He tolerated a number of cycles but then got a couple of infections at once and was very poorly.

He completed six cycles of cisplatin and etoposide, followed by radiation, in July 2024. A PET scan in June showed a significant reduction in prostate size and cancer activity. Unfortunately, the December PET scan revealed a substantial increase in cancer activity.

is there anyone who were on gemzar/cisplatin? 1st day cisplatin/ 8day gemzar than 2 weeks off. How did it work? How do you feel?

One more chemo to go (cisplatin and etoposide) and I’m starting to think about how best to get back on my feet to welcome in 2025 and celebrate getting my state pension in March!.

So I am having etoposide and paclitaxel then cisplatin and paclitaxel two weeks later. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced a tight chest and breathlessness when having any of the above. Also I have developed a rash under both breasts which is quite uncomfortable.
