so I am getting married on 24th January my birthday to,not Barbados but the lake district,pulled out all stops,saw new consultant last night going in to have a look and also may use plasma jet at same time ! very happy, then all being well chemo to start on 30th if still needed but going down the laproscopy route,spelt wrong! so hoping recover is quick as ive a wedding planned again lol xxxx

Exciting news on the wedding - hope the day goes brilliantly!

Good news about the plasma jet too. I’m seeing a surgeon tomorrow and will be asking if my case might be a candidate - I’m up for giving it a try if he is.

Definitely vicki! You are more or less same place as me I think, I’ve got some activity on bowel so looking at going in scrap as much, Desmond Taylor at marsden is the other surgeon who has used it , apparently taught by my consultant Simon butler he’s at the nutfield, lovely man very keen to help and it all makes a lot of sense when it is explained, on you tube apparently! Good luck push for it I think it’s definitely a way forward in longer survival! Keep in touch, I’m just weighing up delaying for two weeks just in case laparoscopy knocks me back to much! 😘😘

Yes I know it pretty well as we used to have our caravan on a seasonal pitch nearby. It's a gorgeous place with wonderful views, great modern chandeliers and a relaxed atmosphere. It's one of my happy places. I hope they give you a wonderful day.
