So pleased for you. I did tell you she was the best. I had chemo after my op to be sure and now been in remission for 2 1/2 years. Almost 3 years since my op. Good luck to you.xx
Hi you did!
We need more of her.
Are you in remission or and on any treatment? Iβm on letrozole
Xx
No treatment now. After she operated I had 6 rounds of carboplatin and taxol. . We are very lucky to have her. She said I can always go back to her if I get a recurrence, and I will do so. All the best.
Wonderful news xx

Hi Zena,
Glad to hear you're doing so well! I agree with Bettyxxx we had the best with our lovely Prof. I think I'm doing ok. My bowel resection has settled down and I'm finding I only need a softener twice daily now - nothing else. I go for a CT scan and Review next week.
Love the flowers
Best wishes. Gwen xxx
Hi Iβm the opposite have the runs, how many resection s did you have?
I will also xx
Hi again Zena,
The Prof's report said I'd had one bowel resection and she removed a nodule. All other specimens she took were tumour free. I was operated to NED. Post op.she recommended a hormone inhibitor and so the Christie put me on Aromasin as I'd already been on Letrozole. The Prof's report was more in depth than suggested above and I don't understand some of the terminology but I think this was the gist of it. One thing she did tell me post op was that my bowel had been close to perforating!!! Frightening!! Post op, it did take longer than I thought for my bowel and stomach area to feel more like it should and to find the appropriate med and dose to enable me to manage my bowel on a day-to-day basis. Have you spoken to your medics abt. the runs?
