My sister

My sister passed away at the weekend. It was peaceful and we were all with her. We are all devastated. I’m worried how her girls will cope they are just so upset.

Oh Steph!

That is so tragic for you. You both were so young and she was your twin!

It is a terrible blow, when someone you were so close to is taken away like this.

All you can do is be strong for her kids and let yourselves grieve. Crying is a good thing and treasuring the good memories you all have will last you forever.

You have been a rock through all this tragedy, but soon it will be time to let yourself break down a little. Give yourself that time.

I am so sorry to read this. When I lost my son age 18, my youngest child was 9, she despite all the grief, which was surrounding her, she was very quiet and acted as if nothing had changed, it was a year later when suddenly she realised he wasn't coming home. It's very hard of children, they feel it in a different way. I'm sure your sister will be watching them with the same care and affection as when she was here and they will have peace from that.
