Very sad to let you know that my beautiful sister Jayne Wilkinson passed away today. This group has been a great help and inspiration to Jayne and the whole family since Jayne was diagnosed in 2019. Jayne was particularly grateful to Prof. Christina Fotopoulou for giving her some extra time with her much loved husband and two young sons .. ..
We didn't post on here often but made a point of reading the new messages every morning together and contributing when we could. I and my family will continue to keep up to date with research and treatments and strive for earlier diagnosis and better outcomes for everyone affected by OC , it has devastated us as a family.
Jayne was very much with us until the end and went peacefully at a time she chose, at home with those she loved. Much love to all you lovely ladies ❤

So sorry for your loss,it must be particularly hard as its so near to Christmas but what a comfort that she was able to be surrounded by her loved one's at the end, heartfelt condolences to you all xxxx.
so sorry to hear this, and such a loss to her young family. Truly an awful disease. As women we have to advance the agenda and knowledge of OC. I also was diagnosed 2019 and thought it only affected the childless and/or users of HRT! Unbelievable when I look back at how ignorant I was.
May you all be somehow comforted. So very sorry for your loss.

I lost my sister with lung cancer 20 years ago and I still think of her often. I loved her so much. "Seashells remind us that every passing life leaves something beautiful behind".
