Sadly, Alfie the reindeer is no longer with us as he passed away in July and I haven't got the spirit to make another this year. Hi Kryssy, I don't know about being a lucky girl it's been 43c (110 F) it's Sunday night now, it's going to be cooler for Christmas day so that will be more enjoyable for lunch.

We have a cold lunch ham, turkey,pork.with a assortment of salad and prawns and of course sweet cheese cake,pavlova, Christmas pudding.

I suppose you have a hot lunch?

Oh dear. We have that heat in the summer too. It can be a nightmare trying to sleep. We have an air conditioner but only in our bedroom. It's noisy, well it is for me. I can't sleep with any type of noise.

We are having roast beef and the rest tomorrow as it's hubby' s favoirite and I am not a lover of red meat and eat mainly fish but my plaquettes are very low so I think I need some roast beef too. I shall have gluten free chocolate cake and hubby only wants ice cream. He'll change his mind but the shops are closed so hard luck. Best thing is we have some nice wines at little cost. Best part of living in France.

We have friends in Perth. They are melting too. I'd rather be hot than cold so have a great day. Yours will be in full swing as we wake up. Love Kryssy xxx

Hi LA. Never mind. We'll try next year one way or the other. I want to get over to UK to see my family and friends while I can. Maybe sort out my final resting place and a good hospice. Got to be practical as I'm not being buried here. No-one will visit me!!! I hope you are feeling better. I sent you a PM about all that crazy stuff. It's stepped up a gear since but is on the back burner until after Crimbo. My brain hurts with it all.
