Good morning to all you lovely ladies .hope you are keeping well.i said I would update you all .i have used this site to get information in the last year as never suffered from women's problems until last year exactly a year to date .and without you good ladies would not have had a clue ,for which I truly thank you all who responded to my questions.after CT scan,MRI scan and 6 TVUS no one could identify my adnexal mass .i really was p.....off with indeterminate scans.i complained to pals as felt the problem was sonographers and radiologists just passing the buck.well I got a follow up at a different hospital and strait away she new what it was and wrote to my gynocologist suggesting and stating it was not a cyst .well follow up with gynocologist and what a surprise she never mentioned what the sonographer said .just it got no bigger I can have it out or leave it in (again what is it ?) not once was I asked how was I pain wise and no discussion on if I had it out type of operation etc.well by now I really am p....off so immediately requested a second opinion which I got yesterday .it appears it is a tumour fibroma of the overy and benign for which I am very relieved at.i have all my scan copies and after going all through them am satisfied with this result.it is 5.7 cm and has stayed that way all year and my ca125 has been ok 8 11 and 9 .i know nothing is 100% in life but have decided not to have it out for now,but if I have to many problems will have it removed at another hospital.what I would advise to anyone not getting answers get that second opinion .i have been worrying for a year when it could have been sorted a lot earlier at lesser cost to NHS..so thank you ladies for helping me and hope you keep your faith you will get through it .you are truly amazing people on here .thank you again x
