Hi, I was really honest with the insurance companies about my past history, thevreoccurence when I finished chemo Sept this year. Incisions and hiatus hernia. 2 companies would not insure me, 2 came in at over 1000 POUNDS. I THought we would not get away but someone suggested good old Boots and they came up with the goods 68 POUNDS I would highly recommend. CHRIS

Insurance with insured me at the last minute to go to Italy recently whereas all the others wanted written confirmation from my consultant to say I was OK to fly whilst on Avastin.

Eurotunnel. As long as your GP says you are fit to travel, you can go. £90ish for an annual policy.

Ive used Boots a few times, premiums are very reasonable although there are higher excesses if you need to cancel due to declared medical conditions. They do take quite a detailed medical history so allow bit of extra time for the quote! Happy holiday! xx

Also try world first travel. I relapsed within 6 months of finishing treatment and on avastin and my worldwide annual policy is still around 100-150. Just relapsed again but it’s not gone up and I’m off to South Africa on Friday x
