Taxol effect's

I find that generally having OC makes me more prone to acid reflux due to increased inflammation. This gets worse whilst on chemo so ask your GP to prescribe some omephrazole
Thank-you. I have never had bad indigestion but OK now I have got lansoprazole capsules. Xx
Agree with Scardycat,I'm still on Omaprezole 18 months after chemo, but it works

Hi just finished weekly taxol and yes sometimes it did affect my digestive system, tell your oncologist when you see him/her, I just ate little and often when it happened.
Xx
I have used Maalox or gaviscon for reflux and both did help, it not the nicest really when it happens

Thanks suzuki, I tend to panic a bit as you probably can tell from my posts. I was prescribed lansoprazole from the hospital and I had run out of the tablets. But got them today , and have taken one and it's helping. My hubby suffers from indigestion, and he as taken gaviscon. Love and hugs xx
It is easy to panic I have been there, at one stage I packed a hospital bag before going to my gp, which of course I didnt need, I had tummy ache and my gp said all it was that my tummy was settling back as it now had plenty of room to expand since my op, But I have suffered from reflux during treatment especially when you arent eating much and at night and its not nice
I get the reflux on day three and four after the carboplatin. The chemo causes it as I am fine most other days. The constipation can be a killer though!!! I was told by a chemo nurse that the anti-emetics stop thing from coming up but also stop things from passing through. Just stuck in the middle with me!!
