Hi. Does anyone suffer or was suffering from chronic gastritis caused by helicobacter?
What are your symptoms and how do you manage them? How long have you had them?
I have been suffering for last 2 years one and off with epigastric pain, feeling something stuck in the throat and occasionally burning in the abdominal. Manage with PPI but sometimes not effective. Have had endoscopy in September 22 which showed mild chronic gastritis associated with occasional helicobacter organism on the surface. Been through the 14 antibiotics treatment
Would like to know others experience with gastritis

I was lucky and antibiotics cleared my H Pylori. I now just use antacids and Gaviscon Advance if I over indulge with food and drink. I had been suffering on and off with mild gastritis for several years but had about 2 months of extreme gastritis taking PPIs before I requested endoscopy when gastritis caused by H Pylori was found.
Chest pain, nausea, heartburn, flatulence and only able to eat bland food, unable to tolerate alcohol or fizzy drinks. Antibiotics for two weeks then blood test after one month to check it was gone. Fine now apart from having to watch over indulging.
